vim ("there are stopped jobs"

Hi guys,
hope you can help me on this.
I opened a perl file in vim a when I wanted to leave vim I hit ctrl+z, instead of :q. Now it seems to have stopped something, when I want to log out from the server, it doesnīt let me - it says "there are stopped jobs". I donīt know what the heck I stopped, but can anybody tell me how to start it again, so that I can logout?
Thanks in advance.
