viewing NEF

Ok without too much banter, I just want to view a .nef file on fedora 24

Every answer I've found this far is some guy telling the person to use some advanced editing software rawtherapee, or some lightroom clone. I ONLY WANT TO VIEW THEM. I dont need to edit them for disneys new star wars movies. thanks for any help.

also any of the built in apps like image viewer and gimp are only showing the thumbnails and i cant figure out why.

Gimp needs dcraw installed to work with raw image files.
