View/Run and/or Transfer between Ubuntu and XP


Is there a way I can view/run and transfer files to a hd with Ubuntu under XP and is there a way to view and run files on a ntfs partition with XP under Ubuntu

The simplest way is to install XP on a VFAT partition.

The next option is to make an extra vfat partition. It has to been so large that you can write on it the largest files you want to exchange.
You can write and read vfat from both Boxes.
