View Contents of Hard Drives using DSL and Knoppix, How?

I am really embarressed about this, but i have been using Xandros for a while now but wanted to try some live CD's. I have tried both Dam Small Linux and Knoppix. But i cant seem to fathom out how to view the contents of my two (primary and slave) NTFS hard drives on my computer.

I have tried googling it but couldnt find anything, i suspect i should have. But if i am using DSL or Knoppix how exactly can i view the entire contents of my hard drives and where are they located on the live CD O/S

Thanks for your help

The kernel has to support NTFS and some distros don't have the kernel built for NTFS or have the kernel module support enabled.
