vids not playing
 

Being new to ubuntu, (and not much of a puter guy) I tried to play a movie clip and get the message.

An error occurred

the playback of this movie requires a advanced streaming format ASF
demuxer plugin which is not installed.

I tried the download from this site

http://www.brothersoft.com/downloads...ugin-xine.html

and still get the message

The playback of this movie requires a Advanced Streaming Format (ASF) demuxer plugin which is not installed.

any help will be appreciated
