Smile vidix error in mplayer

Hello every one..
I am using Red Hat Linux. I have just installed MPlayer on it.But when i play a video file ,It doesn't show video,gives an error that,couldn't find working VIDIX driver.It plays only sound.What should i do? please help me..

Go to mplayer's web site at "" and see their forums and help. I think I recall (but I'm not sure at all so this could be totally wrong) that VIDIX is either a codec or a display method. In either case, I'm fairly sure it's inside mplayer so you should direct your questions there.
