Video settings for plasma TV??

I am installing SuSe 10.1 32bit on my HTPC. I have completed the network install and am setting up the hardware. I am trying to find video settings that will work with our Toshiba 50HP16 plasma TV. There doesn't seem to be a match in the monitor list so I went to the tv manual. The following resolutions should be good for the tv:

Toshiba 50HP16 plasma TV
nVidia 7600GS video card
15pin D-sub cable

Per the Toshiba manual I have WXGA and WVGA set to on. Have tried multiple combinations of off and on.

Resolutions that should be good per the Toshiba manual:
VGA 640x480 60Hz
WVGA 848x480 60Hz
SVGA 800x600 60Hz
XGA 1024x768 60Hz
WXGA 1024x768 60Hz
WXGA 1280x720 60Hz
WXGA 1280x768 60Hz
WXGA 1360x768 60Hz

I believe that I am using 1280x768 on XP MCE.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I am stuck at the Hardware configuration screen and don't want to step past here without settings that work. I have tried multiple bit detpths from 8-bit through 24 bit. I'm not sure what the aspect and transverse should be but I tried a few combinations of those as well.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

Carl

Rantings of a madman.

This is SO Freaking frustrating!!! I did a network install using the Toshiba HDTV as the monitor. During the install the the TV is working fine as the monitor so I know the stupid thing will work. When I get to the hardware configuration screen I can't get any of the settings to test out okay. Okay, so I figure I'll finish it, boot to failsafe and figure it out from the console. NO GO. I can't even get a failsafe boot to console!!!

FINE disconnect the stupid think move it to the office and hook it up to the LCD monitor (wall mounted not easy to move). Won't boot. Reboot to failsafe. Run sax2 and everything is fine. change grub to default boot to Windows and put it back in the family room.

WHY CAN'T I GET THE STUPID MACHINE TO DISPLAY ON THE PLASMA?!! It works on install, it works under windows....

I very nearly launched the 30lb HTPC through the plasma. It is a good thing I'm afraid of my wife.
