Video Problems still in Mandrake

I am still having problems with my video. IT keeps coming up saying it does not like monitor. All I get is a black login screen.
I can log in but do nothing in staring KDE or Gnome or anything.
IT likes everything else fine.

the erro message was something like this
/ect/monitor/monitorconfig:45

I am unsure as to what to do next.
I tried startx and this where ai get message.

if you have a terminal logon try xf86config. You can go through the steps of rewiritng your video file and using the generic montor setups. just login, then type xf86config and follow the steps.
