Unhappy Video Problem (OpenGL Maybe?)

I'm running Mandrake 9.1 and I have an NVidia GeForce4 card. I installed the drivers from the NVidia website and now, whenever I run a program that involves any kind of advanced graphics type things, nothing shows up. I'm new to Linux and I don't really know much about it. I suspect maybe it's an OpenGL problem or something? I don't know. Thanks in advance.
