Video Failure in SUSE9.2 with 6600 GT

Hi. I just want to know if there is any way to start the system using default options, using the bash commands or what have you. The only way I can run SUSE is in fail safe mode which gives me bash. This is because I turned on 3d textures or something like that in SaX 2 and now when I boot up normally, it shows the Nvidia logo and then the screen kinda melts and freezes....not good.
So I was just wondering if I could fix this in fail safe mode by restoring defaults or something like that. I don't know much at all about the commands so that's why I asked here. Thanks in advance. If anyone needs to know more to fix my problem, just ask. I would also like to know if there is a way to get my video card working fully. Perhaps not consider that the drivers were experimental and it did warn me.
E-mail me instead if wanted.
