video card problem(disable nouvear and enable nvidia)

hi,everyone..i hope you all can help me to solve video card problem..well,just now i have tried to disable default video driver(nouveau) on fedora 12 based on tutorials on webs in order to install nvidia driver!:.(nvidia not yet installed)but after i changed all settings and restart the laptop(to install nvidia),the graphic totally bad and even i cannot login.any advice to enable back my nouveau driver without format my hard drive.?...any command to reset my earlier settings?
P/s=i'm a newbie and please be kind with me

Use yum to reinstall the driver.

hey try to use the vesa driver in fedora... google it and find that out...

in my opinion download the nvidia driver from the nvidia site. if you need help with that post.
