Question Via epia sn10000eg graphics ubuntu/debian

Hi all!

I've been googling my senses numb and haven't stumbled upon any solution for this.

I have a via epia SN10000EG mini itx mainboard, chrome 9 hc (graphics integrated), 1ghz cpu, 2gb ddr2 ram, 200gb hdd sata,
setup which I intend to run ubuntu or debian on, doesn't matter which one. (right now I'm on ubuntu 9.10)

The issue is the graphics, it lags a lot, and doesn't render right. This is due to the graphics driver not being correctly installed.

I've tryed the xserver-xorg-video-openchrome driver from repositories, but no luck.

It can't be to slow for ubuntu, even though it isn't the most powerful computer ever ^^

Im thankful for answers !!
