vi question about hyperlinks

How come when I type out a hyperlink in vi, the only way I can open the link is to right click and select "open link". If I hover over the link the cursor turns into a little pointing hand, but right clicking won't open it.

Just curious.

i doubt that it's vi. it's probably your terminal emulator do that. i know mine does (xfce4-terminal) and i have to right click to open it.
