Can't see files in my NTFS drive using Slax Linux ??!!!
Hi,
I use (Slax 6.0.6) on a USB and could not see files in my NTFS drive, I am not talking about files in english but files with non-English characters, so I installed some fonts using Slax control center and then I could see files in my language but the problem is that after this the NTFS drive turn into ( read only ) mode !!!!!
and I can not create any file, BUT when I do UNMOUNT then MOUNT the
non-English files disappear and the drive turns into ( read / write ) mode !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
some usefull information :
when I do in terminal (locale) I get :
To see filenames in your local language representation you need to set the proper locale. As seen above the ntfs-3g mount commands have the locale unset. See http://www.ntfs-3g.org/support.html#locale for details on how to fix this. (BTW, please fill in your profiles OS details and such.)
