Very Quick Easy Question on runing programs


Ok,
I installed Day of Defeat, it's all un-archived and has it's own dirctory. So it is totally installed, but now I dont know how to run it?

i hope this helps as i am a newbie myself but in your red hat main menu go to run application and type the name off the application you want to run

When you say "it has it's own directory" do ya mean it's a precompiled program that's not in rpm form? If that is the case then you should be able to run from the directory.
