Unhappy very new to redhat linux ,pls i need directions on howtos required.thanks


meen, i have a lot of interests in linux so i have decided to satrt working on it.iam a total novice and i need all the assistant i can get.how best to get the os, how to install,coz i have a windows machine,etc.pls ur help will be appreciated.
ihaev a p4..1.8ghz win xp machine.40gb hdd.ihave windows on the 20gb pry partition and another18gb spare partition with nothing on it.so how do i get started??

from your title, it sounded like you already had linux since redhat is one of many linux distrobutions. but i'd suggest going to this site and having a looksie. you can get most of the distrobutions here plus there's some articles on linux. i believe most of these distros are cd images that you burn to cds for installing linux.
