Question Very confused...




I am really new to linux (first time installing it today). I run RH8.0 and I am confused as to what I am doing.
I can make my way around X but I am view 2 hard drives which both are fat32.
Can someone give me basic steps to mount them?

right clikc or ur desktop
press on new harddrive
and follow the steps

that if u r using kde

Apparently my kernel doesnt support fat32.
How would I go about recompiling it to make it so it does?

i dont think u have to recompile, but if running redhat it should support fat32 out of the box, mine does. open a terminal and enter df and post the results.
