is there any linux support for using smart phones e-mail feature/s.
am using opensuse 10.2 server and we plan to purchase verizon smart phones soon and are told to us ms/outlook as software to make all features work, but would like to stay with linux is possible!

In general you don't need Linux or MS specifically to use a smart phone.

Depending on which model phone you get (Windows Mobile 5 based or Palm OS based) I think either can do POP3 email.

Where you'll get in to platform dependency is when your users want to sync with Outlook Calendars or transport files.
