verifying the integrity of a file

How do I verify the integrity of a package using to see if any of its files have been altered since installation.

How do I add the "livna.org" repository to the yum configuration.

md5sum is a good way to verify file integrity. It only works if you have an md5sum of the file before it was potentially changed.

Tripwire and cfEngine are good tools that keep track of files and if they change.

RPM has a verify option intended to do exactly this.
