vb in linux


How can i runvisual c++ programs in linux ? please post me the commands that are used to run & compile program.

Visual C++ is Microsoft only. You may be able to get a program running using the Wine application layer, but there is no guarantee that that will work.

That said: to the best of my knowledge the compiler itself doesn't work under wine/crossover office.

am using ubuntu 11.10.am trying to run openGL programs here. but i don't know how to run them. so plz help me

You need to be more specific. What program(s) are you trying to run? What error messages are you getting?

What about running a virtual environment (such as VirtualBox), unless you own a M$-OS cd...
