E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11 Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/) is another process using it?
You either need to close other package management programs using apt or manually remove the lock file. There should only be a "stale" lock file if apt was interrupted the last time it ran, so be sure that you do not have anything running using apt before deleting the lock file.
