Using Wine
Hello
I'm relatively new to Linux. I am using Debian 6.01 and I'm trying to use some Windows programs with Wine. In general there is no problem but recently tried to install a program that is used with an Electroencefalography. Is propietary program, called Cadwell EasyII. It needs .Net FrameWork and when I try to install receive an error. Any Idea about what to do? I'll appreciate some help. |
Hi and welcome to LinuxQuestions!
What is the error you received? Usually Microsoft.NET framework is installed by means of winetricks, e.g. Code:
sh winetricks corefonts dotnet20 Microsoft.NET support is rated GOLD till release 2.0. Some difficulty may arise for newer versions. Someone reported some problems in installing the 64-bit version of release 2.0, too (whereas 32-bit version works fine). Hope this helps. |
It may not fit your needs but there are open source programs in that area: http://sourceforge.net/directory/?q=EEG
