Question Using Turboprint with Canon i9900 on Fedora 12

I am trying to print a 13" x 19" page from a PDF file in landscape mode from GIMP. The print preview in GIMP looks good, but when I choose "print" the turboprint monitor comes up and the print preview there and the resulting print are either in 8 1/2 x 11 or not in landscape mode. I have tried every possible combination of setting and no-go. Any ideas?
Thank you in advance.
