using linux on a macbook air


i have a macbook air 2012 model with no ethanet port im trying to run kali linux live but linux is not decteing the wireless card is there a way of installing the drivers from a usb as there is no ethanet port or do i need an external ethanet port

1: Use normal OS-X to download requisite files to internal Mac disk.
1a: use google to determine requisite files
2: Mount&read&utilize them with your live USB Linux: https://jclark.org/weblog/2005/05/24/ubuntumount
