Do any of the web-search-results for LinSched help? For example:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/79272...shed-simulator
Tell us more: what 'distro'/pkg/commands have you tried? Results?

I am using it in Ubuntu 14.04. I've already tried your suggestion. I get the following on running the command :-$ ./linsched
"bash: ./linsched: No such file or directory".

Where did the `make` put it? (IF the `make` worked ok)
find / -name linsched -ls
Or maybe install the linsched_2632-1_i386.deb it mentions.

..because you are putting a ./ in front of it. linsched probably is not in the same directory. Did you try just typing in "linsched"??? Maybe reading the documentation on it?

Does it run if you type:
/usr/local/bin/linsched
?
echo $PATH
look for ...:/usr/local/bin:...
May I ask, without offending/upsetting you, about your linux 'command line'/'shell' experience?
(if you're not familiar with 'basic' things like PATH, why would you be looking into scheduler?)
Again, I'm not intending to be 'negative'; everyone is a 'beginner' at all things initially.
Sincere best wishes...

Yes, I've got the basic knowledge about command line/shell.
I've been assigned the work of creating a mini project based on Linux scheduler and I'm not getting where to start from. Searching for the same I came across LinSched and thought reading about it. If you've got any idea about what could be the mini project related to Linux schedulers, your help will be highly appreciated...well thanks for your best wishes
