using k3b burner

K3b tells me the temp dir is fulland does not have enough room as cache for copying dvd's. Does anyone know how to expand the temp dir?

Is the /temp dir on it's own partition, or on ~/home? If you are using KDE, then KDiskFree on System > File System menu will show you all your partitions and how much space is free.

Unless you are using quota, the temp directory will expand to fill the partition. If that has happened, then you need to move it to another partition or make the existing partition bigger.

You can change the tempdir to one that has enough space by going into the Configure K3b --> Misc then changing the Default Temp Directory option just make sure the directory you choose is on a partition that has more than ~4.4gb free.
