Using Grabit with Suse 9.0
 

I use Grabit ( shemes.com/index.php?p=download )

to get files from newsgroups and other "stuff"

I do not see a linux version for this.

Is there anyway that I can get it to run on Suse?

Are there any programs like Grabit made for Linux?

See I am converting from a longtime Windows user and I am having a hard time letting go of these very nice programs that I use

Far shot, but you can try Wine!
Go to YaST's software management tool, and make sure wine is installed. Then run
winesetup to get wine set up properly (do NOT run winesetup as root!)

After all that is done, try
wine <windows_partition_mount_point>/<program_installation_dir>/<executable_file.exe>

This should look something like

wine "/windows/C/Program Files/grabit/grabit.exe" (or similar) WITH quotes :D :)
