Using Gnome CVS

As I am new to Mandrake and Linux, I dont know how to utilize GNOME’s CVS to download Gnome libraires. I need the libaries to install Gnopernicus because I am legally blind-visually impaired. I see the commands down on the buttom of one of the sites (can't post link, new here), but I don't know where I should type those comamnds. Should it be somewhere in Mandrake? Can someone please help me out.

Any help would be appreciated. I have been trying to use Linux for almost two years now, but because I don't want to strain my eyes, I haven't been able to use it. In the past, I tried to use Red Hat, but I haven't been successful because I couldn't get Gnopernicus installed. I was hoping Mandrake 10.1 would have come with it installed, but it didn't. So please please help me as I want to get away from windows.
