Using CURL command to login Pandora and grep text

Hey there,

I am trying to use curl command to login to my pandora.com account, go to my 'Liked Songs' and use lynx to dump the page then grep to get out the song name/artists for my 2300 liked songs.

My first step is going to be logging in with curl I believe.

can someone please help me with that step. I have looked for tutorials but found none I could understand. Thanks!

You would have to know the backend of Pandora for that to work, as far as I know Pandora has not released an API or any documentation on how to perform logins from external sources. This will be your first step, find and identify the method used to login.

Sure, I can tell you how to use curl to post data to pandora.com but we have no idea what data it needs, what the name of the user id and password fields that it's looking for or whether or not it's even done via a POST request.

The source of Pianobar might help, since it has this capability (sort of). It is in C though.
