I am running the latest version of linux and put a tv tuner card (WinTV-HVr-1265) in
the computer. I am running Mythtv and it works great. The question I have is that the
remote and IR sensor that come with it are for windows. Is there a way to get mythtv to respond with this remote?
Distribution: Ubuntu based stuff for the most part

The win remotes are very well supported by MythTV, so you should have little trouble getting it working. Plug it in and should work fine, not sure if yo need to go into MythConfig or not, as I have not used MythTV in a long time.
