Username and Pasword Stored In the Modem

I am using Broadband Internet through Auto Ethernet! I forgot the User name and password for the broadband! Is there any Linux command to get the user name and password stored in the modem memory??

Thank you

Hello,

Can't you contact your ISP? ;)

Kind regards,

Josh

I can contact my ISP but they are too slow when it comes to responding to customer's query! That is why i want to find it myself!

To answer your question, there is no Linux command to find the user name and password stored in your modem.

You may be able to log on to the modem via a web browser. Then you would be able to see the user name and password. Very often the user name is "admin" and the password is either "admin" or "password". Some ISPs have other user name and password settings which would require you to call your ISP to learn.
