User Authentication

Is there a way to get Apache, Squid and Samba all to use the same password file...
I have configured Squid to use the system accounts using the getpwname_auth. Is there a way to get Samba to do the same or ViceVersa as well as Apache......

PS Im only using Samba for local files so security is not that much of an issue....

To the best of my knowledge they all support external
authentication modules (using PAM or other methods,
e.g. PostgreSQL) ... I can't see why in this scenario
it shouldn't be possible to have them all use the same
one ...
