hi guys

does any one know of a program for linux with a gui interface

that you can use to upload files to usenet i have tried pan but it only

does text files no like rar files

also is there a prgram like quick par for debian

thank you

Pan works fine for me, and I have no problems uploading/downloading any types of files. Klibido, and hellanzb are two others...you can find more by doing a Google search.

libpar2 and par2cmdline are available for virtually all distros. Gpar2 and Pypar2 are gui front ends for the decoding side. Not aware of a gui on the encoding side.

Which version of pan are you running? The older versions (more than a couple of years) were very different from the current versions. The newer versions are written in C (older were in python?).
