Useful CTF for linux newbies

A great number of linux newbies have trouble with how to start understanding and getting to grips with the terminal. A useful thing that helped me was a ctf. Usually, ctf's are for hackers, but some also help getting to grips with basic linux. https://overthewire.org/wargames/bandit/.If you have trouble with getting to grips with linux, try that ctf

Hacking from the terminal isn't going to really help teach someone how to use the terminal because what is being done at that level is quite advanced. Sure, you can learn, but that is not how I would teach someone.

I agree, but the bandit ctf is unique in that it focuses on how to use linux at a begginer level, and doesn't really focus on hacking. Try completing a few levels, and you'll see what I mean
