Once you've done all this, go back to terminal and proceed with the ifconfig command (see above)
Ok, so you're using wicked to manage your network interfaces. If changing network environments frequently, consider using Network Manager instead.

As sauerland has mentioned, there is indeed an OBS 'rtl8812AU_8821AU' package available. The following openSUSE site can be a useful place to check for such packages (if you know the name of what you're looking for of course)....
