USB Keyboard not recognized on boot screen using fedora 3
I am really enjoying using linux, but there is one niggly little problem that keeps bugging me, which is that my USB cherry keyboard does not work when the boot menu is displayed, but my PS2 keyboard does.
This also happended when I initally tried to install the operating system. Please help me as i dont want to keep having to swap keyboards and I really do prefer to use my Cherry keyboard. Thanks. (Dual boot Windows XP / Fedora 3) |
I have the same problems with my logitech dinovo, on the boot menu screen I can't choose windows. I thought it was because the keyboard is bluetooth though.
Have you tried getting a ps/2-usb connector and pluging the keyboard into that? |
Well,I have got one of those adapters somewhere, but having a 21 month year old son has meant that it has been "moved" somewhere else, lol.
I am going to go and buy another one so that the keyboard will work, but It just really niggles me that I can't use the keyboard just as it is. thanks for replying :) Gary |
