USB Jumpdrive problems

I want to be able to see my USB Jumpdrive when i plug into the USB ports. Is there a command or some application to open the Jumpdrive or even where to go to see it. (Am working on FC3)

When you plug your USB Jumpdrive in, it must be mounted like any other hard drive. Create a directory where you would like to mount it to. Run
Code:
fdisk -l
to see where this drive is located (probably /dev/hdb1 or something similar). Then run
Code:
mount /dev/hdb1 /mnt/jumpdrive
where /dev/hdb1 is where the hard drive is located and /mnt/jumpdrive is the directory you want to mount it to. Then you can just navigate there using your favorite file manager (like Konqueror). Remember to su to root before mounting. Good luck.
