Exclamation USB device under slackware ...

Hey all just changed to slackware 9.1 and i like it alot.

Having a few problems but my main one is my USB mouse and keyboard as i am using it with a secound monitor from my laptop.
The problem im having is its picking up my keyboard wich works fine but not the mouse.
The mouse uses infered to the keyboard so if the keyboard works the mouse should right ??

any help would be great as they both work under other distros suck as mandrake and fedora.

Slack 9.1 comes with HID USB compiled as modules (kernel 2.4.22)
Try to uncomment your /etc/rc.d/rc.modules @ HID section.
the lines you should uncomment are
/sbin/modprobe hid
/sbin/modprobe usbmouse
/sbin/modprobe usbkbd
This should enable your usb mouse
Hope this helps
