URL Tricks

I am sorry if this is not the right forum. I thought somebody in this forum might have done it before.

Here is my question:

A user types an URL: I want to show content being served by another server, which is in another location, without any change in the address bar.

The other server has an URL like, say,, which can also be independently accessed.

I am using apache as a front end. OS is red hat.

Can anyone please point me to the right direction?

Thank you.

So you want URL1 to redirect to URL2? That would be done via DNS redirection. seems to have the instructions.
