URL filtering
 
Hello,

Can I use a Linux server to filter url's.. looking to block certain websites for folks using both corporate and Guest networks??

Yes, by doing the same thing you'd do with a Windows server, and that is configuring a proxy server. Squid is the most common one for Linux, and has the best support/reporting tools. It's probably already in your online repositories, and installation/configuration documents are VERY easy to find.
