Exclamation Urgh! Uber Newbie+D-link+Fedora==False

Okay from some advice from a friend, I decided my first venture into Linux would be Fedora Core 1. Not a bad OS at all I must say, but I'm struggling to get my D-link DWL-520 PCI Adapter to even be recognised let alone configure it to survive in my ever so fragile network. I've gone to all of the settings that I can think up and the only thing I can think its trying to be is a Prism 2 or 2.5 card. I don't have a clue about it. If ANYONE has anything useful to tell me please do so since I configured my system to be a dual-booter I'll still be able to see it (XP install was as easy as saying yes 5 or six times). If there is something I can burn and then click that'd be cool too. Thanks
