urgent question
I do not no much about linux. But i think it is cool. I use a mac os 9.1 but I have a Simply MEPIS linux installer disk. Is there a linux OS that runs on things besides PC's ( e.g. mp3 players, digital camaras and game consoles,) or be able to install it on a mac???
The question may be urgent to you but not to anyone else. You may want to change your topic description to something more appropriate so you don't get ignored. "urgent" "help" or similar things in the topics is a turnoff and only make people who would otherwise help you ignore your plea for help instead.
But to answer your question: yes there are distributions that run on the Mac. Did you check out the faqs on this site or read any of the stickies? Did you check out distrowatch?
Come on man, I'm Australian and I'm proud of it cause generally we are reasonably intelligent. Google it, there is tons of info out there. Don't get people to hold your hand for you...
