Urgent... Lost Boot Loader
 

Help...

I just had to reinstall crappy XP and now i have lost the boot loader, how can i re-install the boot-loader and get centos back up and running.

I havent used CentOS for a while I think there is an upgrade option to just do a boot loader install, whether it be Lilo or grub.

I just booted from the Cenntos CD and it gives a rescue option which takes you to a command line, Im just not sure what to do from here.

You need to reinstall the boot loader to the MBR.

I'm not familiar with CentOS, which boot loader does it use, Grub or Lilo?

Not even close to be an urgent problem.
grub-install /dev/hda
