Urgent freeglut help needed


I try to innstall freeglut 2.4.0 and after configuring the install fail... because: Gl/glu.h no such file or direcory.. What did I wrong How can solve this problem. I tryed to install on older version of freeglut also but the same eror when installing... I need freeglut to run torcs...
Any help or tips are welcome..

You need libglu1-mesa-dev or depending on your distribution something with "freeglut" and "dev" in the package name.

Its not for running torcs, its for compiling it. Aren't there any binary version for your distributions? Would be easier..

Itīs urgent cause I donīt wreally have time only now... but thanks for the tip anyway...
I looked in my distros packages and I couldnīt find anything withe that name or those words in the pakages names... I try now with google...

I downloadet the following file: libglu1-mesa-6.0.1-63048cl.i386.rpm and installet but the freeglut installation still gives me the same error..

you need one rpm with a "dev" inside.
