hi,I'm totally lost
I installed BIND server(red hat 9),and then added this entry in /etc/named.conf file:

zone "bird" {
type master;
file "bird.file" ;
};

Then I went into /var/named category and created bird.file file:

$TTL 1d

@ IN SOA s1.bird. L.s1.bird. (
2000016000 ; Serial
21000 ;refresh
1600 ;Retry
4w ;Expire
1h ) ;Negative cache TTL

;Define nameservers

IN NS s1.bird.

;Define hosts in this zone

s1 IN A 192.168.0.3
;

But when I start nslookup it reports SERVERFAIL-it can't find s1.bird
But if I type in localhost it does report 127.0.0.1

What am I doing wrong?
