i am using RHEL-5 in my system.i have used the squidwhich came along with rhel-5.ihave configured squid and squid is running fine.i have configured sarg.
when iam giving the command sarg i am getting the message unknown option

Hours
unknown option days.
my problem is solved.i had uncommented a tag which prevented the generation of html reports.my access.log file is read now but the following error message appears :getword loop detected after 11 bytes. seraching for 'x20'.Maybe you have a broken record or garbage in your/tmp/sarg/user1.log file.
user1.log file is getting created.
i am not using dansguardian.
can you help me out.thanks in advance.

ifmy access.log file is empty,i am getting an additional message that 0 records found.
ifmy access.log file has got some entries,iam getting the additional message invalid path() .in either case i am not getting any report.since 20 days iam held up with this problem.can anyone help me out.
i am not using dansguardian.

Since it is urgent I strongly recommend that you call REDHAT. Since you are paying for their support they will probably come up with a solution a lot faster than a forum of volunteers.
