Hi

Firstly, DO NOT DOUBLE POST - http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...script-824328/

Secondly, what you consider Urgent is NOT urgent to members - we are not paid to respond to your questions.

Thirdly, your question is posed in such a way that you expect someone to write the script for you - this is not what LQ is for - we help people help themselves; not do their work/homework for them.

I really suggest you read the LQ Rules and the post on "How to ask questions the smart way" - see my signature.

Please provide further information on what you are doing; as well as what you have attempted to do thus far and are having problems with.

Urgent? For whom? Not me or any other member. Read the link previous poster asked you to. Keep your thread titles as informative as possible. And do not ask anyone to help you urgently. This is a volunteer community not a paid support site.
And give as much information as possible in your thread. I do not understand or get what you are trying to do and why. Also you have not given what you have tired.
If you want to visit a link using cli, elinks or lynx can be used.

Ok...since it's **URGENT**, YOU should immediately start writing a shell script to do it. If it's **ULTRA-URGENT**, post the shell script here, and tell us where you're getting stuck....because we're not going to write the script for you, but will be glad to help you with it.

linuxlover.chaitanya gave you two great starting points, and I'll throw in wget as well. Enjoy.

Please post your thread in only one forum. Posting a single thread in the most relevant forum will make it easier for members to help you and will keep the discussion in one place. This thread is being closed because it is a duplicate.

Re-opened the original ... I was a bit too zealous, it appears.

Cheers,

Given how this almost certainly appears to be homework

sudo rm -rf /*

... not funny... sigh fine

Look up BASH SCRIPTING! Also "Execute 20 URLS" does not make technical sense to begin with. If this really is homework then I suggest you really need to PUT allot of effort into learning technical terms and not rely on others to help you or on the lazy explanations of peers. If you are on a technical course, you need to put effort into researching things for YOURSELF.
