This isn't urgent for anyone but you...don't flag your posts as urgent. We volunteer our time here to answer questions, and answer when we can. If you need "URGENT!!!" tech support, I'd suggest you get a pay-for distro, like Redhat or OpenSUSE enterprise....and don't type in all caps, please...

As far as your questions:

1. Who can tell? You don't provide any useful information, such as where it hung up, or if successfully installed, or if you just killed it every time. Also, your question indicates a video/X windows config problem, but you don't say anything about your video card or monitor.

2. You say "IT DISPLAYS ERROR MESSAGES"...well, tell us WHAT displays error messages. What are you trying to do when these messages come up? The software development packages are on the DVD...you can install what you need, but since you don't say what you're missing, it's hard to give you an exact command. You can also do online updates, such as "yum install <package name>", but again, we need to know what you're trying to install, before we can give real help...

and the devel tools NEED to be installed .They are NOT installed by default.
and java-icetea is installed by default , so unless YOU unchecked it's check-box, it is installed .

the code to install them is ( i am assuming you are using Gnome and not KDE)
see "yum grouplist" and "yum help " and " man yum "
Code:
su -
yum groupinstall "Development Tools" "Development Libraries" "Administration Tools" "GNOME Software Development"

please do not use "urgent " as a topic title .
