hello,
what Distro are you using? Many of the distros come with most of the printer drivers out there. I have an HP1020 and I just plugged it in and worked. If for some reason your distro doesn't have the drivers google it my friend and you will find them. |
It looks like printing should not be a problem using CUPS:
http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=379100 Here is info about using CUPS: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_...rinting_System I am confident that CUPS is already installed on your linux distribution. It seems that it is not too difficult to get working in the ubuntu/kubuntu distributions: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=28209 http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-83832.html This link says that using CUPS and the Photosmart 2600 driver, it should work ok: http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/sh...t=3181&cat=all |
