How many clients one NIS server can handle at one time?

please do not mark threads as urgent. it is not urgent for us.

Google using "nis server" gives lots of hits.

I've never set up a server (of any kind), but I assume that the number of clients allowed is something you can set.

Please give more detail on what you are trying to do.
